Corrugated Metal Pipe was invented in 1896 in Crawfordsville, IN.

In 1904 a zinc coating was applied to steel to increase the service life of the pipe. Many other metallic and non metallic coatings have been used to increase the service life since 1904.

Structural Testing was first done in 1913.

CSP is available in two types of construction,

Hel-Cor and riveted
