Corrugated steel sewer pipe

Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) is the material of choice for today's infrastructure projects due to its optimal combination of strength, flexibility and performance. Typically used as corrugated steel culvert pipe, CSP will not crack under impact loading or vibration due to the inherent strength of the steel and the flexibility of the corrugated pipe sections.

Our corrugated steel pipe (CSP) is available in a variety of thicknesses, lengths and coatings.

These products are used extensively in flood control, drainage, and storm water systems because steel is reliable, traceable, sustainable, and strong.

Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP)

Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) is the material of choice for today's infrastructure projects due to its optimal combination of strength, flexibility and performance. Typically used as corrugated steel culvert pipe, CSP will not crack under impact loading or vibration due to the inherent strength of the steel and the flexibility of the corrugated pipe sections. The high annular compression of the steel pipe absorbs the load and transfers it to the soil around the entire circumference. Beam strength maintains the slope and line of the structure by bridging the inequalities between the bottom and side fills of the trench.

YITONG manufactures and stocks a full line of corrugated steel pipes in a variety of materials, linings and coatings to meet specific durability and hydraulic requirements. Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) is available in round sizes from 6" to 144" and in 120" equivalent pipe arches.CSP has unmatched manufacturing capabilities to meet demanding field requirements, especially in larger diameters.

Depth of cover

The minimum allowable depth of cover is the largest of:

For roads H=B/8+0.2(m) H=B/6(m) and not less than 0.6(m)

For railways H=B/4 and not less than 0.6(m)

There is a possibility to reduce depth of cover provided that suitable checking calculations will be made.
