Solution for bottom reinforcement of large-span arch bridge

Solution for bottom reinforcement of large-span arch bridge

As depicted in the image, the arch span exceeds 20 meters, prompting us to opt for a steel-concrete structure to ensure adequate strength.

In this project, we have implemented a steel-concrete structure due to the large span of the corrugated steel arch. When the span exceeds 20 meters, additional reinforcement methods need to be considered for safety reasons.

As depicted in the image, the arch span exceeds 20 meters, prompting us to opt for a steel-concrete structure to ensure adequate strength.

To reinforce the corrugated steel structure, we have installed woven steel cages on the exterior and utilized steel plates as formwork for pouring concrete into the steel cages.

This approach results in a structure with both a corrugated steel shell and a concrete shell, significantly enhancing its strength compared to a structure consisting solely of corrugated steel.
